"Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other"
About Me
As an Instructional Designer, I practice leadership in creating and structuring effective learning experiences, and continually refining my own knowledge by staying up-to-date with new technological tools that aid highly-skilled professionals in teaching, training, and effecting learning mastery in adult learners across the globe.
Over the past 10 years, I have designed and facilitated countless hours of instructor-led and online curriculum and training in a collegiate environment. A popular idea from social science suggests that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to exhibit expert-levels of mastery in a given skill. I have met and exceeded this benchmark in the design, creation, and assessment of engaging and effective learning experiences, appealing across varied learning styles and to a diverse cross-section of adult learners.
My first hands-on instructional design began as a subject matter expert for an online course development project. I played an extremely hands-on role in creatively devising discussions, scenarios, scripts for eLearning modules, quizzes, exams, and project-based learning, in collaboration with an instructional designer. After that experience, I was hooked, and it prompted my professional transition into the world of instructional design.
I am a self-stater, working proficiently individually and collaboratively in teams. I identify as part of the Xennial micro-generation - an early digital immigrant and quite tech-savvy. I help map out course objective and outcomes, and identify which learning solutions, activities, and technological tools will best help achieve your overall goals.
I would love to collaborate to help create effective learning solutions for you and your organization. Let's connect soon!
